Hand crafted fabric doll sure to delight any collector of primitive cloth dolls.
Body is made of light beige cotton and features bendable legs to allow for sitting, as well as bendable knees. It is stuffed with a premium brand of polyester stuffing which will not clump or change shape. Eyes and mouth are painted; nose is stitched.
Her hair, made of thick cotton twine, is tied up under a checkered homespun cotton headscarf.
The calf-length dress features a bodice of red striped ticking, appliqued with a chambray blue heart. The skirt portion is made of brown, black and cream checked homespun cotton; it is decorated with a pocket made of a vintage, tea-dyed hankie as well as a vintage lace trim along the hem.
The dress closes in the back with two snaps.
Her boots are fashioned of dark brown felt embroidered with faux lace-ups.
Doll measures about 20 inches from top of head to bottom of boots.
