Just in time for holiday decorating, a wonderful big Christmas stocking made from a very vintage, colorful, repurposed quilt that was made in the ever-popular fan pattern.
Based on the fabrics used I estimate this quilt to be about 60 to 80 years old, a most charming relic taking us back to a distant past.
Quilt is used for front and back; it is padded for extra body with a polyester batting and lined with plain all-cotton muslin. A hanger made of the same muslin fabric completes the look.
No two alike!
Outer fabric is 100% cotton vintage quilt, padded interfacing is 100% polyester, lining is 100% cotton muslin.
Measures about 17" from top to bottom, 8.25" across opening and 11" from toe to heel.
